Rebels Lose Unbeaten Coolies

The Rebels weren't able to stop the unbeaten streak of the Coolies as they lost the game by a score of 3-1. Red came close many times to evening up the score but became unraveled in the late goings as frustration set in and the parade to the penalty box started.   The Rebels sit in third place in the division with two games left until the re-tiering.

Rebels Have the Power

The Rebels went down by 2 goals early, both on bad giveaways, and were being dominated by the Crown Royalers. After a timeout late in the period though the Rebels were able to get on the board on a goal from Mike Power. From there the momentum switched to the Rebel's favour which allowed Mike to find the back of the net twice more to give Red the lead and ultimately the win. It was Mike's 100th game as a Rebel and he made it a memorable one by getting a natural hat trick and giving his team the win.

Rebels Take Bite Out of COBRA

It was the same score as the previous game but this time the Rebels were on the positive end of a 2-0 shut out. It wasn't without drama though as both teams racked up a total of 46 penalty minutes and saw a player ejected on each side. Shiv and Neal scored for Red while Nik posted his first goose egg of the season.

Rebels Win First Game of Summer Season

The Rebels kicked off their 17th season with a 4-2 win against the Southside Shiver. Red played their first ever game in the Tipton Arena and had to adjust to the size being considerably smaller than the Sportsdome surfaces. The transition didn't take long though as Jesse scored on his first shift with the team just 2 minutes in. The Shiver answered back 10 minutes later with a goal of their own to tie it up. A few minutes later the opposition took a high sticking penalty and Scott capitailzed scoring on the powerplay to regain the lead. In the second half James scored and Jesse found the back of the net once more to give the Rebels a 2 goal advantage. The Shiver was able to pressure and add one more near the end but it wasn't enough as the Rebels took the win. Jesse, Scott, Alex, Chris, and Adam all tallied 2 points a piece.
