Rebels Still in the Hunt for First Place

The Rebels cruised to a relatively easy 5-1 win versus the Flatliners. Mason opend up the scoring just 42 seconds into the game. Eric and Mason then traded goals back and forth to give them each a 2 goal game. Steve then scored shorthanded to give Red a 5-0 lead. It wasn't until just over 2 minutes left in the game the the Flatliners were able to sneak one by Nik denying him the shut out. Steve ended the night with 4 points while Mason, Eric and Matt all came away with 2 points a piece. With the win the Rebels secure at least a second place finish and are still in the running for first.

Hellions Widen First Place Gap Versus Rebels

It was a hard fought game by the Rebels but they came up short against the Hellions losing 2-1. Mason was the lone scorer for Red. With a game in hand the Hellions are now holding onto first place in the division with a 5 point gap.

Rebels Earn Third Straight Win

The Rebels coasted to an easy 7-1 win playing against a depleted roster and goalie-less Raiders. Doven, Eric, Mason, Shiv and Sheldon all tallied two points a piece. Of note, Doven scored his first goal of the season and Bruce took his first point of the season adding an assist. Next up is a HUGE game for the Rebels - a battle for first place against the Hellions.

Rebels Eyeing First Place

It took a shoot out but the Rebels beat the Dragons by a score of 2-1. Steve had a power play goal in the first half and was the lone scorer in the shoot out. Nik stopped all three shooters in the shoot out to earn his 6th straight win. The Hellions lost their game in overtime so now they are hanging on to first place by just one point over the Rebels.

Rebels Get Back on Track

The Rebels found the winning touch again defeating the Phantoms by a score of 3-2. Steve had a 3 point night with 2 goals and an assist while Mason was the other goal scorer for the Rebels. Matt, Neal and Chris all added helpers.

Rebels Suffer Second Straight Loss

The Rebels showed up flat in the first half allowing Scared Hitless a 3-1 lead going into the second. The two teams traded goals back and forth but the Rebels ran out of time trying to tie the game up and ended up on the losing side of a 4-3 game. Mason had a 2 goal game while Eric found the back of the net for the first time this season. The loss allowed the Hellions to leapfrog the Rebels and take over fist place in the Division.
